The website dedicated to Zygmunt Rytka’s oeuvre is part of a project implemented by the In Situ Contemporary Art Foundation in Sokołowsko and the Foundation for Visual Arts in Krakow. Its objective is to organize, preserve, digitize and promote the works of this outstanding artist, as well as to initiate future projects related to the development of each successive part of the archive and presentation of the available works by means of exhibitions and publications.

The project’s focus in 2018–2019 was on analogue photos from the 1970s, ‘80s and ‘90s held in the artist’s archives at the In Situ Foundation in Sokołowsko. In 2020–2021 prints and documents kept in the archive were processed, such as posters and invitations, as well as the artist’s remaining cycles including those from after 2000, and a large resource of photographs documenting artistic life.

The project also includes a publication devoted to presenting Rytka’s works, ATZR – Archive of Zygmunt Rytka’s Works. In addition to reproductions of the artist’s works, this book also features articles by Anna Batko, Adam Mazur, and Karol Hordziej, and a transcription of a conversation between Rytka and Joanna Szczepanik.
